Carrier Building and Systems Services North America organization has an opportunity for a Customer Assurance Manager to join our team. This position will be based out of our service branch in Brea, CA. The selected candidate will be assigned to assist in providing support for our offices located in the Southwest area of the United States: Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. As a member of the Team, you will also provide back up/team support for other states when required. Responsibilities will include: This position will deliver pre and post-sales technical support and training to commercial HVAC customers for existing products or supplemental sales. This position will have a high level of interaction with internal customers as well as external customers, contractors and end users, for training and problem resolution. -interface with contractors, end user customers as needed to ensure that a high level of customer service is upheld, both pre and post sale -provide training and technical support to commercial applied equipment customers, as well as internal service offices involved in sales or service support of any supported products -address and resolve customer quality issues, working with both the customer and the Carrier factory support teams AA/AS degree in Engineering or related field with 5-10 years of experience BS degree in Engineering or related field with 2-5 years of experience - Must have strong knowledge of HVAC design and application, specifically with regard to split systems, recip/screw/scroll chiller packages (DX and water, air cooled and water cooled), rooftop products, airside products, including built-up indoor and outdoor Airhandlers - Commercial applied HVAC equipment service experience - Control System experience is a plus - Exceptional interpersonal communication skills - Must enjoy working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment - Must be PC, Internet proficient Travel to customer sites approx. 50% of the time United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
