Credit Specialist

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  This position is responsible for analyzing credit applications and setting customer credit limits, and collection of open accounts receivable.   DIMENSIONS: Responsibilities include meeting specific financial goals set within the company’s yearly budget. The position directly impacts the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)/Delinquent Days Sales Outstanding (DDSO), the past due receivables, and bad debt exposure. Job Requirements:   PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIES    ·  Collection of due and past due accounts receivable using GETPAID. ·  Place past due accounts for collection through approved outside agencies in a timely manner. ·  Set reasonable and fair credit limits based on the customer’s needs and the information from the credit application.     NATURE AND SCOPE    Collection of the accounts receivable is done daily through a program bolt on to SAP called GetPaid. This program is based on customer account risk code and terms. GetPaid allows phone, email, and fax communication with the customer.
