Crane Service Technician

 

RETROTECH, Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in Over-Head Crane Service and Intelligent Order Fulfillment.  The Crane Service Technician is to execute and support the inspections, repairs and installation efforts at Retrotech’s customer sites.

 

Requirements:

  Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

  Strong Electrical skills are preferred - AC magnetic controls - PLC knowledge

  Solid mechanical skills.

  Ability to work in the field at 20’ to 75’ heights

  Ability to operate articulating lifts

  Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  Be highly organized and work in a fast passed environment

This individual must be able to operate in a team environment

Summary of Responsibilities:

Inspections

Installation

Repairs

On call service work

Modernizations & Upgrades

Provide on time, highly technical problem diagnosis and resolution for customer issues

Based on customer system diagnosis and needs analysis, recommend additional work and services

 

Additional Duties:

Fabrication and Welding

Mechanical Assembly

Electrical Assembly

Preparing of field service reports

Sharing of field service reports with customers

Determine customer system parts needs and recommend appropriate parts to customers

Poses a can do attitude
