Altria Client Services seeks a highly qualified Attorney to join our Law Department at our corporate headquarters in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to Altria Group's operating companies, including Philip Morris USA, Philip Morris Duty Free and John Middleton Inc., primarily in support of brand integrity initiatives. Specific accountabilities include:·Advising on legal/regulatory obligations.·Managing issues associated with contraband and illicit activity in the distribution of tobacco products·Reviewing and revising educational materials, presentations, fact sheets and other communication vehicles.·Reviewing and revising contracts, projects agreements, and other business documents.·Managing outside counsel, including project management, effective budgeting and proper allocation of resources.QualificationsQualified applicants will:·Be a licensed U.S. Attorney and a member of, or eligible for, the VA Bar. ·Possess a minimum of five years of experience practicing law in firm, corporate and/or government position(s).Experience in representing clients in any of the following areas is a plus:·Cigarette Industry·A Regulated Industry·Criminal law·Interactions with Law Enforcement AgenciesBenefitsIn addition to the opportunity to apply your legal skills toward key business objectives, we offer an excellent compensation package, including a competitive base salary, comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance, participation in our incentive compensation and deferred profit sharing programs as well as a relocation assistance package.To apply for this position, please click here
