Cost Accounting Manager
Description:
A leading large manufacturing company has an immediate need for a Cost Accounting Manager. This position will be a key management position that will oversee the cost and analysis. Not only will this opportunity provide an environment for you to grow but will lead to potential next steps within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Direct all cost accounting activities. Perform operational process improvement. Direct the monthly financial analysis of plant results. Manage the preparation of performance reports. Oversee the development of and maintenance of standard costs. Prepare and coordinate the annual budgets. Oversee inventory management. Analyze capital expenditures. Special Projects.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following:
BS in accounting or finance. Proven track record in a manufacturing cost environment. Strong understanding of cost analysis. Strong communication skills. CPA or CMA is a plus but not required.
