Cost Accountant for stable company and industry

My client a division of a global conglomerate serving the defense sector is seeking a Cost Accountant II. The Cost Accountant II will be responsible for working with the controller and performing the following duties: - Responsible for collecting and analysis of data to determine the standard costs- Work closely and support the management decision process through the generation of data and review of production department results. - Must be familiar with the ERP systems and its relationship to the G/L- Participate in various production meetings so as to maintain a presence, understand the critical issues of the department and, as necessary, provide financial leadership. - Participate monthly physical inventories. - Generates month-end closing journal entries Requirements: - Bachelor of Science (Business) degree with emphasis in accounting or related subject-Minimum of 5 plus years of related experience in manufacturing- must be able to work over time during month end-Experience with Standard Costing, Raw Material, BOM, pricing and inventory audits and cycles-Prior experience with an ERP system -Solid interpersonal skills-Good written and verbal communication skillsMust be able secure or have DOD security clearanceFor immediate consideration email Steve.Izabal@na.manpower.com Email your resumePlease click here,or copy and paste the following link into your email browser, to email your resume.
