Through our Climate Control Technologies sector and Thermo King and Hussmann brands, we provide global solutions for the transportation and retail refrigeration market.
Responsibilities Include: All cost accounting activity and month end close process for the Aftermarket manufacturing operation in Minneapolis MN. Providing all analysis of this operation including variance analysis, balanced scorecard and setting of standard costs to the Controller and Operations Manager. Complete analysis for review and establishment of standard costs and overhead rates on a annual basis. Coordinating and reconciliation of the annual physical inventory for the manufacturing facility and storeroom. Assisting in the monthly forecast and annual AOP process. Ad hoc projects. Helping support accounting functions for other businesses included in Aftermarket. Reviewing and analyzing Aftermarket manufacturing operation to insure all accounting is in accordance with IR policy. Analyzing variances to forecast and plan and reviews issues with finance and operations management. Preparing balanced scorecard, bridge, and monthly reporting package for presentation to finance and operations management. Annual physical inventory for manufacturing facility and storeroom. Setting standard costs and overhead rates on an annual basis and insure that all part numbers have an accurate cost. Completing monthly account reconciliations related to the manufacturing operations
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CMA certificate a plus. 3-5 years of industry experience with an emphasis in cost accounting in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Demonstrated proficiency of computer software including Oracle, Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point.
