Corporate Accounts Receivable/Payable Lead
A manufacturer with offices in Portland is in need of a Corporate Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Lead.
This individual will be responsible for corporate AP and AR; full cycle cash application into the ERP system; account reconciliation; and month end reporting. Specific responsibilities will include: Processing AP for multiple locations. Working independently with vendors on inquiries and problem resolution. Preparing analysis of accounts as required. Assisting with month end close of AP including accruals and estimates. Posting cash receipts to locations through application in the AR subledger. Processing 1099 and 1096 forms. Assisting with receiving and determining the nature of visit of customers, sales persons, and other visitors and directing them to the appropriate party. Sorting and distributing incoming mail. Performing other duties as assigned.To be considered for this position, Candidates must have the following qualifications: An Associates Degree or equivalent education experience and/or a minimum of 3+ years of related experience. Strong 10-key skills and advanced computer skills including MS Word and Excel. Excellent analytical and organization skills. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality. The ability to maintain positive working relationships and be a team player.This is a full time, permanent position that pays commensurate with experience.
