Establishes and maintains accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations. May specialize in one or more functional accounting area such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budget, etc. Supervises professional and/or clerical accounting employees. Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is absolutely required. Also, requires a minimum of 3 years related accounting experience to have solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Must have experience with advanced knowledge of PC based spreadsheet packages and experience utilizing accounting/financial software, preferably SAP. Experience in working with executive level compensation plans within a manufacturing environment is highly desired. Experience working for a Big Four accounting firm, and a CPA, preferred.
