Job opportunities range from fast-paced production work, to business specialties, to technical and operations management.DescriptionSUMMARYPlan, direct, coordinate and work directly with the Business Unit Managers on business objectives, planning and strategies and projects to meet financial expectations. Support the integration of best practices throughout each business units. Facilitate and train on projects surrounding each operational area. Challenge each operational manager to keep their areas of responsibility on track with the corporate operational dashboard with the use of the corporate toolbox. This position must be able to make business decisions and be pro-actively involved, not only in the everyday business but also strategically looking ahead. This position serves as an internal toolbox improvement expert/consultant to business units at all levels (engineering, planning, manufacturing, maintenance, etc.). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Support implementation and use of daily metricsSupport the use of the toolbox at each location the individual must coordinate the education the best practice of:- Pipelines- TOC Lines- Constraint/Bottleneck identification - Improvement best practices Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.Confers with project staff to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.Coordinate improvement projects surrounding Quarterly Review outcomes.Integrate into performance measurement processDrive focused improvement efforts- Support and teach constraint/bottleneck improvement activities Strengthen identified weaknesses- Coordinate and utilize corporate/divisional resources- Develop, teach, and automate tools to support operational improvement- Coordinate, Develop and facilitate training programs - To aggressively lead cultural changes within an organization thorough understanding of business principles and TOC methodologySUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:DiscussionQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
