Commodity Manager / Strategic Sourcing Manager

Our client is a world class leader in their industry and has a strong history of reliability and stability.  The company is currently building a new strategic sourcing organization and seeking individuals for multiple positions with responsibility for managing direct and indirect spend. Responsibilities include:§ Development of sourcing strategies / commodity plans for existing and new products.§ Negotiation, creation and implementation of new corporate contracts with approved suppliers§ Creation of supplier management processes to improve supplier quality, delivery & cost metrics.§ Analysis of commodity trends, market trends, economic indicators, etc.§ Identification and development of new sources of supply. We are seeking individuals with 5 or more years of experience who have a demonstrated results-orientation and are seeking an environment where they can add value and make a positive impact for a new department.  Requires a 4 year degree; MBA preferred for consideration.  CPM certification preferred.  25% travel. For SCM, Six Sigma, Lean Management, Quality and Engineering or Medical Device / Biotech opportunities; please visit our website at http://www.fpcgboro.com.
