Looking for stability in a company!!!  Fast paced rapidly expanding Fortune 500 corporation with an extremely diverse customer base is looking to hire direct a Commodity Leader to provide leadership on all key programs. A well diversified company that also has business in the Off road vehicle, Heavy Truck, Aerospace, Industrial and also Military markets.
This will work very closely with the Director of Purchasing in a key position to significantly influence and support their continued growth.  You will be part of a Sr. Commodity team that will lead, develop and execute strategic supply initiatives across multiple commodities within a global supplier base.The chosen candidate will be empowered to make key decisions in this role.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree.  MBA a plus (but not required) 5+ yrs exp. in purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier development or other related disciplines Commodity exp. in plastics, machinings, castings, fasteners, assemblies or any other related is a plus Some Global sourcing exp. helpfulLCC sourcing exp. in Asia or Mexico a big plus Organized, sense of urgency, competent, and able to work with multiple suppliers and departments Strong financial insight Organized, sense of urgency, competent, and able to work with multiple suppliers and departments Excellent MS Office skills
