Chemical Worker $16 - $18.50 per hour

Sensient Colors, world leader in colorants for food and industrial applications, has an opening for a Chemical Worker in our St. Louis production facility.  Earn $16.05 - $18.50 per hour to start, depending upon department.Perform well and show good attendance, and you could receive pay increases after 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months.  Great benefits, including FIRST DAY health, life, disability, and 401(k) plan! Sensient employees work in world-class food-grade manufacturing facilities, on a variety of 8hr and 12hr straight shifts.  Typical duties include monitoring chemical processes, adding raw materials, mixing, drying, labeling and packaging.  Must be able to lift 40 lbs repeatedly. Exact position and shift offered will depend upon results of internal bidding. 

Successful applicants will have a high school diploma (or GED) and at least one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food or chemical industry.  Knowledge of chemical safety and Good Manufacturing Practices needed.  You must be willing and available to work any shift, any day, and to work overtime if requested.

Candidates who meet these requirements will be asked to take a standardized test measuring verbal and math skills at the high school level.  Candidates who pass this test will be eligible for interview.
