Chemical Technician
Job Summary
As a staff R&D technician executes process and chemistry development experiments under directions from staff engineers and scientists. Summary of essential job functions
·      Responsible for operation of pilot production tools.
·      Executes chemical experiments using conventional methods and High Throughput Experimental tools in research lab.
·      Maintains laboratory inventory and laboratory equipment.
·      Responsible for environmental health and safety procedures and protocols.
·      Prepares daily and weekly reports on executed experiments. Key words
General, organic, colloid chemistry, nanotechnology, organic synthesis.

Must haves:
Experience in synthesis of chemical compounds.
Strong drive to succeed.
Proficient in MS Office and statistical analysis.

Nice to haves:
>5 years of experience in chemistry manufacturing and/or research. Minimum requirements
·      2+ years of experience
·      AA or MS in Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering
·      Experience with air-sensitive reagents and processes.
·      Comprehensive understanding and hands on experience in wide range of analytical instrumentation, including NMR, FTIR, UV-VIS, XRD, TGA, DSC and modern chromatographic techniques
·      Solid understanding of safe lab practices
·      Excellent communication skills
