Job ID: 13709Position Description:Perform the daily cash management duties, including determining cash position, cash movement, investment of excess cash, issuance of short term debt, foreign currency transactions, and other cash transactions. Provide analysis, processing and transactional support to Cash Operations Team supporting cash management activities for the Company. This includes supporting international cash management, treasury systems and treasury reporting, as well as active involvement in projects across treasury operations. Essential duties and responsibilities include:• Prepare daily cash worksheet and determine daily cash position.• Invest excess cash, or issue short-term debt based on the daily cash position.• Initiate payments via Fed wire, ACH and international cash transfers.• Provide timely and accurate reports of daily debt/investment activity to senior management.• Ensure proper liquidity is maintained, with the goal to minimize idle cash.• Provide supporting documentation and reports to Accounting for cash activity.• Assist in the research and resolution of cash, banking and accounting inquiries.• Apply approved internal control principles to daily cash responsibilities and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.• Identify procedure and functional improvements and enhancements.• Interact with financial institutions to research and resolve any discrepancies, and investigate and understand new services or opportunities that may be offered.• Provide assistance in other Treasury-related projects as needed.• Perform monthly analysis of banking fees. Identify any potential errors and resolve with bank.• Summarize holdings of stock received by the Company as a creditor during bankruptcy situations. Liquidate individual securities as warranted.• Analyze monthly credit card billings. Based on interaction with processing bank, determine if process changes can reduce fees.• Assist and guide escheatment research and file claims to recover any funds belonging to the Company which may be held by any of various States.Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) with a general understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and banking required.Prior work experience in a banking environment or Treasury department is essential.Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office software required. Strong organizational skills are a must.
