CUSTOMER SERVICE / INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Crane Energy Flow Solutions, a global valve manufacturer, distributor and service provider, has an opening for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative at its Conroe, Texas, location. The Customer Service Representative is the primary liaison between customers and the company for normal day-to-day sales activity - principally having to deal with orders, expedites, order modifications, order confirmations, export documentation and Returned Good authorizations.  This position develops price and leadtime and provides quotations on standard products, receives and processes sales orders and takes necessary actions to develop appropriate responses, and communicates replies and ensures that sales transactions are formatted to provide a high degree of success in meeting customer needs and company plans/goals. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Â§ Primary responsibilities include the Latin American Account base§ Process customer orders into an internal sales order and send confirmation to customers§ At customers' request, facilitate order modifications and expedite; communicate results directly with customers§ Process all requests for Returned Goods (RG's) as requested by customers keeping them informed of the status of their requests; coordinate with other departments involved in the receiving, inspection and repair (if necessary) of the products in addition to insuring that proper transactions are generated in Accounting§ Provide the necessary follow-up action on customer orders with all departments to ensure commitments are met§ Correspond promptly and effectively with customers and with other company departments concerning all order activity; maintain adequate files for future reference§ Work closely with field and factory sales managers to develop and communicate the most effective responses in all order transactions§ Develop or recommend improved Customer Service procedures  § Provide input to the Value Stream Manager to simplify or better organize work procedures§ Active involvement in the Quality Improvement Process and committed to quality improvement MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Â§ Three years Inside Sales/Customer Service experience with valves or related products preferred.§ College degree in Business preferred or two years of directly related and progressive work experience will be equal to one year of college§ Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred§ Ability to process orders quickly and accurately§ Ability to adapt to a variety of challenges and personalities§ Good verbal and written communication skills§ Self starter, high degree of enthusiasm§ Good organizational skills - administrative background§ Good mechanical sense/aptitude§ Good computer skills in MS Office – Word, Excel§ Ability to function well under pressure  Company: Crane Energy Flow Solutions Location: Montogomery, TX 77316 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: Crane Energy Flow Solutions
