 CNC Operator/Programmer – 2nd Shift

Performance Tool & Die, a division of BTD Manufacturing, Inc., is now accepting applications for the position of CNC Operator/Programmer. This position is 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday (3:00pm – 1:30am).
Â
This position is responsible for set-up for most blocks, operating all types of CNC equipment, along with editing programs. Must maintain a high level of accuracy in produced work.
Â
Job Functions:
 Analyze the optimal way to edit programs and set-up. Create set-ups as needed. Assume responsibility for basic maintenance of equipment. Performs all duties in a safe manner, complying with safety rules and regulations. Adjust and replace tools as needed. Perform tool offsets as needed.
Â
Experience:
 Working knowledge of the tooling process, CNC machinery, and Gibbs programs. Working knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods, and practices used in production tooling operations, leading to efficient decision making. Strong communication and problem solving skills.
