CNC Milling Machine Operator
2nd Shift
El-Tronic, a Remmele Engineering company, has been providing the highest quality contract manufacturing since 1961. We specialize in machining small components for a broad range of customers, but our expertise is founded within the medical device community. We currently have the following position available at our Coon Rapids facility.
This position operates and adjusts milling machine tools working with stainless steel, titamium etc. according to specifications, tooling instructions and standard charts, applying knowledge of machining methods. Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications. Performs all work with adherence to safety procedures.
Essential qualifications for this position include a two-year technical degree in the machine trades, or one to three years experience operating CNC mills or multi-axis manual machining equipment. Ability to work from blueprints, written specifications and verbal instructions, and working knowledge of and experience with measuring instruments required. Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control, good written, verbal and interaction skills with customers, other departments and shifts as required, and basic shop math knowledge necessary.
The most qualified candidate will possess working knowledge of PCs, basic understanding of tooling and machine knowledge gained through experience, and previous preventative maintenance experience. Basic programming knowledge for CNC machines, and through experience, possesses the skills to work in a team environment.
