CNC Machinist/Programmer

Operation of CNC Machine (lathe and /or mill) in the production of parts per prints and specifications and maintain assigned machine. Operation includes setting tools and fixturing, producing jigs, and fixtures, running parts production, measuring and inspecting parts per print and making adjustments on machine control to maintain part tolerances. Duties also include operation of manual machinery involved in the production of parts or secondary operations. Successful candidates will be organized, be computer literate in WINDOWS, ALPHACAM CAD/CAM AND MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK. Must be able to read and understand prints, good basic math skills, and able to read tape measure and precision measuring tools. Must have solid understanding of different material properties and how to identify them via Rockwell Hardness Test, along with the ability and understanding of how to properly use an Ames Hardness Tester.
