CNC, MILL, LATH OPERATOR (MACHINIST)
The following outline is a profile for the position of Project Coordinator. This profile is being provided to give individuals an outline of goals, expectations, accountabilities, communication and skill requirements of the position.
1. POSITION GOALS
Support and assist all Sales Representatives in all duties as required to meet the workload demands.
Support corporate goal of On-Time, Complete and Correct.
Work effectively in a team environment to foster ideas to improve efficiency and productivity.
Communicate effectively with whom contact is made – sales representatives, customers, co-workers, management, installers/contractors, etc., as well as provide professional, timely and effective telephone support.
2. POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrate a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive attitude toward work and co-workers.
Perform consistently in alignment with the goals and accountabilities set forth by supervisor.
Manage time and resources efficiently to achieve maximum performance and productivity.
Perform work as assigned in an efficient and orderly fashion.
3. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Learn and possess general knowledge of the AS400 systems and the customer support policies and procedures to ensure compliance with operational directives.
Work closely with sales representatives to ensure all required “pre-sale” documents are received, processed, and forwarded to the installer for a timely quote.
Review all orders for complete documentation, including special billing instructions, if applicable, before forwarding to Mayville for processing.
Create and maintain all project folders accurately and in organized system.
Coordinate all aspects of the project installation. Maintain close working relationship with customer, sales representative, installer, delivery company, etc. to ensure project is completed in a timely manner.
Coordinate customer Service Calls and Warranty Work requests. Ensure proper authorization is obtained and all paperwork is complete prior to scheduling service call or warranty work.
Perform a variety of clerical functions to support the Branch Sales office, such as coordinating and producing branch mailings, creating miscellaneous sales reports, updating and maintaining the customer database, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
4. FEEDBACK
Provide regular feedback, written and/or verbal, to ensure management has a clear understanding of the accomplishments of the expectations and accountabilities of the position.
Be prepared to give updates on a daily basis on current workload requirements, and feedback on corrective measures being taken to improve processes.
Provide oral and/or written communication to resolve issues and/or conflicts in a timely manner.
5. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma, or a minimum of two years related office work experience, preferably in a sales environment.
Strong working knowledge of Windows software required. Knowledge of AS400 systems beneficial.
Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures, and technical procedures.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, and efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
6. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Employee must frequently move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, quotations, receivers, order transmittals, work orders, and other work related correspondences.
Ability to operate and be affluent on all office equipment.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or structural form. Ability to calculate figures, amounts and percentages.
7. ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is located in an office and noise level is usually moderate.
