CNC MACHINIST
Weir Specialty Pumps has two openings for CNC Machinists in its Salt Lake City location.
These positions are journeyman level requiring commensurate training and experience.
Requirements:Set up and operate major machining equipment including lathes, drills and CNC machinesInterpret blue prints/drawingsVerify and accurately report on quality and quantity of work performedMaintain a clean and organized work areaHave own toolsBe available for shift work.
Qualifications:
Machinists must proficient inOwn set-ups Calculating feeds/speedsUnderstand G&M codesEdit tapes when necessary
Qualified candidates will possess at least four (4) years experience operating the following:CNC lathes MillsMachining centers Conventional machines. Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) experience preferred.
