CMM Programmer/ Operator
CMM Programmer/ Operator - Inspector, Precision Machine and Sheet Metal Parts Job Description: Set up and perform visual and dimensional inspection of machined and sheet metal parts including flat pattern design, fixtures, gages, and completed assemblies to determine precise conformance to specifications, tolerances and workmanship standards. May be required to determine methods of inspection to be used, make complex set-ups, and perform first-article, in-process and final inspection activities. The candidate must be proficient in the use of such precision measuring instruments as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, gage blocks, sine plates, height gages, indicators, thread gages and comparator. Experience in CMM programming and operation with Virtual DMIS and the ability to write new programs from customer drawings (FARO Arm experience a plus). The candidate must have knowledge of inspection specifications, processing, hardware and finishing specifications. Shift hours: 7:00am until 3:30pm. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
