CDL Delivery Driver/Counter Sales Assistant

HPWS is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team.  Duties and responsibilities include:

- Make deliveries in Denver, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming

- Assist with customers at the parts counter

- Assist the parts department manager in general operations

 

Preferred Qualifications

- Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class B with Hazmat and air brakes endorsements

- At least 2 years driving vehicles requiring a CDL

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- Clean driving record

- Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders.  You will have to lift 5 and 7 gallon jugs, as well as 

  move 30 and 55 gallon drums with a barrel dolly.

- Must pass drug/alcohol screening

- Must pass background investigation

- Highly motivated, courteous, self starter

- Basic computer knowledge

- Ability to work with customers, identify their needs and find optimal solutions

- Ability to handle multiple tasks

- Ability to read and understand invoices, purchase orders, freight receipts, etc.

- Professional appearance

- Willing to train right person for CDL and Hazmat.  You must be able to obtain your CDL within 1 month and Hazmat within 6 weeks of hire. Wages will increase after obtaining both qualifications.

- The applicant search is currently limited to the Denver metro area only please.

- Normal hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, M-F, however several trips a month are 1 or 2 nights away.

 

Compensation:

Starting $12.00-$17.00 per hour, dependant upon experience.
