CAD Administrator
Thiele Technologies, Inc., a Barry-Wehmiller company, has an opportunity for a CAD Administrator on our Standards Engineering Team.
Responsibilities will include overseeing and providing technical CAD and engineering database support, CAD system management, and computer network interface related to the CAD system that improves the design process and optimizes the performance of the current CAD system and users while promoting conformity to the standardization of processes and machines.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:Bachelor's degree in related field and three years related experience, orA two-year post high school diploma/certificate in mechanical or electrical design/drafting and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.Working knowledge using SolidWorks, DBWorks, and AutoCAD Experience in data management systems and Autodesk products such as Inventor and Mechanical Desktop.Knowledge of computer hardware and experience with Microsoft office productsDemonstrated organizational and problem solving abilities.Demonstrated effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Travel required.
THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS ARE HIGHLY DESIRABLE:Solid understanding of SQL database Previous leadership experienceSelf-motivated individual with the ability to think proactivelyBackground in machine design.
