Business Process Analyst - Manufacturing

DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Using proven PP-PI/WM experience, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include interfacing with internal McCormick customers to assist with development and execution of SAP Process Manufacturing (PP/PI/WM) related process improvements.  Some relocation allowance will be provided.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
• Experienced in business processes and possesses ability to formulate system scope and objectives in relation to business and project requirements. 
• Possess functional and configuration knowledge in the SAP Process Manufacturing modules of SAP in order to support existing business requirements, and provide opportunities for improvement. 
• Develop functional specifications and work with technical resources during the development and testing processes.  Will participate in all phases of future SAP rollouts.
• Work efficiently and effectively within functional and project teams.  Manage small to medium projects within a process area, from design to post- implementation. 
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of the business area to resolve problems to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Lead small work teams, plan the work for others to meet project deadlines; sets priorities to accommodate needs of users.
• Highly skilled technician with an understanding of the business and familiar with the SAP transactions and processes for Process Manufacturing (PP-PI).  Knowledge of system interfaces and reporting requirements. 
• On going responsibility for production support activity and user inquiries.  Provide on call support to help resolve critical system issues during off-hours.
• Perform and manage SAP configuration and transport process.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Process Engineering or related discipline; may consider 6+ years related SAP experience in lieu of degree
• Requires 4+ years of relevant experience working with SAP/Process Manufacturing (PP-PI and/or WM) solution required.
• Strong understanding in all aspects of Process Manufacturing with a minimum of one full lifecycle implementation required.  Multiple implementations with the above criteria preferred. 
• Demonstrated understanding of master data requirements to support PP-PI and WM with Handling Units required.
• Practical business process analysis experience in the development, design and implementation of technical solutions to support the business required.
• Ability to solve complex problems required.
• Proven project management experience and solid customer service skills required.
• Ability to travel as required, including international travel.
• Prior experience supporting a 24x7 manufacturing environment and knowledge of QM a plus.
• Shop floor integration knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP/BW reporting tools preferred.
