We are currently seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Application Developer A at our Minneapolis, MN location.

This position encompasses the following : Analyze business problems identified by Systems Specialist or users, and provide innovative and cost-effective solutions. Design, develop functional and technical specifications for interfaces and customizations to meet users' requirements. Provide on-going maintenance and support for Climate Control Power-Play applications and Impromptu Reports as required Write and keep up to-date system documentation that conforms to IR CC Design and Coding Standards. Work with IT resources to extract data from source systems & design DB Tables to store data required for reporting Promote good user relations through project status reporting, and resolving daily systems issues and enquiries. Maintain up to-date knowledge of technical and business systems technologies especially Cognos PowerPlay/Analysis studio, Impromptu, Cognos Scripts, Cognos Transformer, Framework Manager,Access Manager.

Qualifications : Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Experience working with and troubleshooting Cognos Transformer, Cognos PowerPlay/Analysis Studio, Framework Manager, Access Manager, Impromptu, Cognos Scripts or other reporting tools Experience upgrading Cognos software Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL or ETL experience Knowledge of data warehousing, report and OLAP development and data analysis Experience in Web/Internet technology, HTML, XML knowledge is helpful Excellent Oral and written communication skills
