The ACS Common Process/Common System (CP/S) team is commissioned to introduce common ERP business processes in ACS which will facilitate growth, meet customer needs, and reduce customer response and cycle times, run lowest cost possible at error-free rates. Business Analyst (SAP Variant Configuration)
Summary:
Work with a team of IT analysts that will work closely with business experts in developing end to end business processes using variant configuration. The person will in their duties be involved across multiple implementation projects (multi-task) as part of the ERP COE for the CP/S program.

Responsibilities:
Provides IT expertise to support the realization and design of the End to End processes for CP/S. Key focus is on leveraging SAP's Variant configuration capability to support the Honeywell ACS business needs
The following activities are part of the scope: Deliver project scope document defining the system requirements of the business processes to be builtIdentify GAPS between the business requirement and SAPGain business sign-off to the scope and gaps definedConfiguring the SAP system to meet the business requirements. This could involve one or many of the modules outlined below SD, Manufacturing, MM, Service, PM and FI
Requirements gathering with the business for RICE-F deliverables, testing of the RICE-F deliverables, business project team training on the newly developed RICE-F deliverablesDuring VCCT transferring the knowledge of the new processes to the implementation teamsThe role partners closely with the SBU and CP/S Business Deployment teams for each project. The role will also require close co ordination with other functional teams to aid the overall project to achieve the tasks necessary to have the SAP system available meeting business requirementsWorks together with the functional team to drive the adoption of standard business practices. Education and/or Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
SAP ERP knowledgeThe successful candidate will demonstrate skill in the use of Variant Configuration as described below. The candidate would have gained this skill using SAP. The candidate should show skill in being able to configure VC as described below:
VC configuration: Use of characteristics and classesBuilding of variant tablesConfiguration profilesConditions, pre conditions and dependenciesVariant pricing in SD and PurchasingSuper BOM's and RoutesThe candidate should also show experience in the use of VC across the following modules: SD, Manufacturing, MM, Service, PM and FIDegree or equivalent standard Additional Qualifications
Track-record of successfully implementing VC in SAPUnderstanding of the ACS VC footprintSAP R/3 VC configuration/process knowledge acquired through either SAP's Partner Academy or customer offered curriculumAt least one, preferably more than two prior SAP implementation experiences; either as a team member or consultant. This should equate to a minimum of 2-3 years of R/3/ERP experienceExperience with specifications, development and testing of RICE-F work for manufacturing Other Skills and Abilities:
