Brand Manager/Channel Marketing Manager

Our client, located in heart of New York City and 23 offices strategically located around the world, is a global, premier distributor of quality Electrical and Mechanical equipment components for the worldwide industrial marketplace since 1952. They currently are seeking a dedicated highly motivated professional to develop and manage marketing strategies for their Electrical and Mechanical Distribution unit.  In this position the ideal candidate will work with customers, sales teams and the marketing team to assess channel needs and develop plans and programs to improve our overall competitive position and work closely with our sales team to develop and implement winning channel marketing plans to meet corporate objectives to grow market share and improve profitability. In addition you will make joint sales calls on strategic accounts, work with Sales and Marketing teams to bring needed new products and line extensions to market and ensure that product offerings are correctly positioned and packaged for the Electrical and Mechanical Distribution channels.


The professional we seek will possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business and at least 5 years of experience, preferably including product management and/or sales. MBA is preferred. You must be a strong manager, able to lead, train and motivate our teams to achieve desired results and increase overall profitability. Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and strong analytical, communications and computer skills are essential.
