Superior working environment - - 3 year old climate controlled production facility.   Duties: Implements shift management's directions to improve machine and crew performance, to meet or exceed the region's production goals. Must ensure safe and efficient production of products as work leader to the shift assigned. Provide training and facilitation to Crew Leaders, Operators, and/or Lead Mechanics.1)Act as work leader for all Team Members within assigned Cell (Crew Leaders, Operators, FSA, Material Handler), to maximize production output and machine utilization, through the application of proper production techniques and safe material handling practices. 2)Assist in the organization, scheduling, and training of our client’s associates and temporary workers assigned to the shift on an ongoing basis to help maximize production output and minimize downtime. 3)Perform Quality Control spot checks to ensure quality of product and use of proper procedures on multiple machines. 4)Under the direction of the Supervisor, resolves staffing and production problems adversely affecting the performance of the crews. Make recommendations and provide regular feedback to Shift Management on Team Member performance. Recommend methods by which the performance of the Cell, support groups, and/or equipment could be enhanced for continuous improvement through participation on QATs, etc. 5)Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems on equipment assisting Technician with repairs as necessary. Expedite resolution through communication with maintenance department, through work orders. Provide communication to management on other shifts regarding the status of these repairs. 6)Collect and analyze accurate production measurements, (e.g. LHPT, CPM, attainment vs. standard, and machine utilization data), to recommend production improvements to Shift Management. 7)Ensure a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices among team and within work area. Report unsafe conditions to Supervisor. 8)Ensure compliance by all team members of policies and procedures. 9)Perform duties of all other Crew Members as necessary to ensure consistent, efficient operations.Skills / Requirements•Prior experience in Lean environment a plus!  Direct Mail a plus! •Minimum of 2 years production/manufacturing/warehouse experience and a minimum of 1 year as a Lead. •Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred but not required. •Must be bilingual ( Spanish ). •Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holiday. •Basic Computer skills. •Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills. •Ability to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, and reach overhead (up to five feet) on a continual basis. •Ability to comprehend and comply with all safety rules to ensure safety for self and all crew members. •Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems necessary. •Ability to perform duties of all Team Members and possess the ability to train others in those job skills •Ability to fully set up machine(s) and to perform basic maintenance. •Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills. •Accurately analyze and report machine performance and quality production and other information as requested. •Basic understanding of our client’s measurements (Pkgs/Hr, Hrs/Mpcs, Cost/Mpcs) •Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing/troubleshooting machine problems Salary: 12.00 - 16.00 DLS/HR (Based on experience)  Shift: 2nd Shift, including weekends.
