Asst Manager - Campbells Kitchen

General SummaryThe Assistant Manager combines a passion for and profound knowledge of food and cooking, strong business acumen, and possesses an understanding of the day to day realities of consumers' lives and kitchen. This position demonstrates ability in planning, developing, testing, and executing all Campbell's Kitchen core services with clearly defined objectives, strategies and tactics that achieve optimum business results. The individual must possess skill in prioritizing, managing through complexity/ambiguity and be results-and action-oriented. The Assistant Manager also demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills, effective people skills and is a strong team player. Comfort with computer technology and familiarity with common software is required. Principle responsibilities are executed with minimal supervision by manager.Principle AccountabilitiesProject/Program Planning and Management 20%- Designs and develops work plans supporting projects of moderate complexity and technical risk. Represents CK on multi-functional task forces/teams providing input to direction and scope.Project/Program Execution 20% - Conducts/supervises others in executing work plans of moderate risk and complexity. Analyzes interprets results; summarizes and reports results, making recommendations where appropriate.Communicates plans and results to clients/business teams 15%Transfer Knowledge 20% - Applies technical know-how to solve problems of moderate complexity that require customization and creativity. Has proficiency in Company technology and work processes in relevant areas.Resource Planning and Management 15%- Requests resource support for projects and supervises consultants. May lead a small project team.General Administration 10%- Expected to estimate requirements/manage company resources to support projects. Proficient in approved software packages and programs.Job ComplexityAbility to develop food usage strategy for a specific business and execute actual food ideas to support strategies.Ability to research the market and provide consumer/food trends insights in a report or presentation.Ability to provide actionable consumer insights relative to Campbell's businesses drawn from consumer research/ interaction.Ability to develop performance testing plan for new and reformulated products and recipes.Ability to analyze Campbell and competitive products to determine leveragability points of difference.Ability to provide counsel for visual food executions for television and print.Ability to manage content for web sites and coordinate updates with external suppliers.Ability to work within established or create (as needed) departmental processes. Identify and lead opportunities for continuous improvement of these processes.
