Assistant Production Manager

Marketfare Foods, a leader in the fresh/frozen sandwich and hand held food snack industry seeks an Assistant Production Manager for its manufacturing department. In this position you will be responsble for the production of quality products according to the written specifications in a timely and efficient manner. The position is charged to maintain a level of operation that will meet and exceed plant objectives while creating a safe working environment. This is a "hands on" position that manages daily operations of all production by monitoring variances to standard  and investigate those discrepancies to determine course of action for improvement, develop, design and create plans to improve production efficiencies and reduction of downtime.  In this position you will be responsible for 80 hourly associates.
