You will unleash the potential of your talents as never before.Key Responsibilities:Lead problem solving and improvement activity Support production processes and equipmentManage/lead planning and implementation of capital and major projectsUnderstand and support the JEP Safety and Environmental systemsLead development of JSA and lockout/tagout documentationParticipate in the development and maintenance of process documentationWork cross-functionally with team members, trades, peers, etc. Skills:Four (4) year engineering degree or equivalent experience required BSEE, BSME or BSCS preferredUnderstanding of manufacturing processes Project management experienceUse of common approaches to problem solving (Six Sigma, 7-step, FMEA, FTA, etc.)Knowledge of quality procedures and systems including QSi and TS-16949Understanding of statistical process control, process capability, and data analysis.Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Minitab, Lotus Notes, Oracle, File structure)Understanding of IMSIndustrial controls systems experienceSoftware experience with the following products: RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, RSView32Overall understanding of HMI applications and Controls System architecture interacts with IT systemsPerforming Skills-Commitment to Task: Able to take responsibility for actions and outcomes and persist despite obstacles; give long hours to the job when necessary; demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results.Integrity: Able to be tactful, maintain confidences, and foster an ethical work environment; prevent inappropriate behavior by co-workers; give proper credit to others; handle all situations honestly.Decision Making/Problem Solving: Able to take action in solving problems while exhibiting good judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to use reason, even when dealing with emotional topics; review facts and weigh options.Leadership: Able to assume a role of authority as necessary; advocate new ideas, even when risk is involved; set an example for co-workers; delegate responsibility and empower associates to make decisions; provide constructive feedback to others; constructively resolve conflict.Communication: Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; read and interpret complex information; talk with customers or team members; listen well.Flexibility: Able to remain open-minded and change opinions on the basis of new information; perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task; adapt to varying customer needs.Attention to detail: Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data, organize and maintain records systems.Initiative: Self motivated, seeks to undertake additional responsibilities, prepare for problems in advance, respond to situations as they arise without supervision.Innovation: Ability to adapt established methods for new uses and pursue systemic improvements.Organization and Planning: Able to organize or schedule people or tasks; to develop realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability.Benefits/Company information:Explore superior growth opportunities and enjoy progressive advantages like our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, stock options, Domestic Partners coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
