We employ 2,500 people in large volume, high technology, union-free facilities located at East Greenville, PA, Woodstock, IL and Waseca, MN.
We currently have a fulltime opening, located either at our Waseca, MN or Woodstock, IL facility. This position will focus solely on IT Logistics and Distribution solutions.
Your tasks
Java will be the primary development tool. However, a successful candidate may also work on projects with the Oracle development toolset which may require forms development, reporting tasks, etc.
In terms of development from a generic standpoint, here are a few detailed requirements:
Learning the necessary development products which include Oracle Database, SQL, Java, J2EE and Oracle JDeveloper.
Working with users on their input
Database analysis for business system need
Programming the various pieces within the system
Testing the code written
User acceptance with the system
Documentation on the system/module
Supporting users on the system
In terms of analyst work from a generic standpoint, here are a few detailed requirements:
Learning the necessary product/system - could be 3rd party software used for business purpose
Working with the users on their input
Functional analysis for business system need
Possible programming within the provided tool that the 3rd party package offers - typically for system configuration and /or reporting
Testing the system functionality and modules
User acceptance with the system
Documentation on the system/module
Supporting users on the system
Our requirements
1. The individuals we seek will have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with minimum overall GPA of 3.00 and minimum GPA of 3.0 in the major. (Please note that we will not be interviewing Masters level candidates).
2. Completion of internship assignments during the academic program with experience relevant to the requirements listed above is preferred.
3. Well developed verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in a team-based work environment are critical attributes for all of our IT positions.
4. Documentation of authorization to work permanently in the United States is required.
5. The candidate must be able to travel occasionally by commercial aircraft and by automobile and must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
6. All applicants must successfully complete a post-offer drug screen and a background check.
