Aerospace - Business Development Manager/Military - CSO Customer Support Operations (CSO) team is dedicated to providing the users of Parker Aerospace with premier service.  We are a repair and overhaul facility.  Our employees are dedicated to providing a full spectrum of logistics support and repair services to our valued customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our culture values innovation and people with a common sense of integrity in their work which is why our business continues to grow.  We continue to provide unmatched performance for our customers and shareholders.  Best of all, our employees share in the success which results from that growth. Position SummaryBusiness development manager for military logistics services.  Position located in Irvine, California. Responsibilities· Develop and market innovative logistics services to US and international military customers;· Develop and implement strategies and tactics for protection and profitable growth of logistics services;· Establish relationships with DOD military, international, industry logistics, acquisition executives, potential team members and partners;· Coordinate multiple functions and organizations in developing strategies and proposals to satisfy customer requirements.Requirements1.  Bachelors degree (BS) in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.  MBA preferred.2.  10+ years of increasingly responsible experience in military aerospace government DOD contracting environment.  Knowledge of DOD logistics, maintenance infrastructure, policies, regulations and procedures.3.  Proven creative  marketing, business development, and negotiation experience in the DOD/international military market. 4.  Knowledge and experience with product support, Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Total Ownership Cost (TOC), associated modeling tools and support strategies such as PBL desired..5.  PC skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.6.  Ability to travel up to 25% to OEM divisions and customers required within assigned territory.7.
