Advanced Technician Specialist: Anelva/PVD Tool Owner - H1809
Job Description • Vacuum Equipment Engineering Technician assigned to Anelva & PVD wafer tooling •Assist Equip Eng in the following areas: To evaluate, select, order, and implement equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective per manufacturing requirements •Own the responsibility for tooling PM’s •Maintain records of equipment performance, failures, upgrades and safety issues •Constantly study and evaluate the equipment performance and reliability •implement solutions to:- increase uptime, reduce wafer scraps, improve the process capability and repeatability, and reduce cost of ownership •Provide technical support to manufacturing for equipment repairs •Provide Technical training and certification for maintenance personnel. •Define and write preventive maintenance procedures.Job Requirements •Vacuum Technology theoretical and practical knowledge. 5+ years hands-on work experience with Anelva and Veeco PVD systems. •understanding of failure mechanisms on Anelva & Veeco PVD equipment and ability to implement solutions to resolve the malfunctions. •Effective team player including communicating with vendors, Mfg, & Eng. •Excel, Powerpoint, & Word Computer Skills •Problem Solving. Logical thinking and root cause analysis capability Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude. •Knowledge in control systems •Communication skills and capacity to clearly communicate with peers, management, customers and suppliers.
