Administrative Assistant - To $45K

Do you have strong communication and organization skills?  Are you a fast learner, creative and able to multi-task?  Do you have excellent administrative skills, customer service and basic accounting skills?  Are you bilingual Spanish? If so, then we want to see you!  Our North Shore client has been in business for over 50 years and they have an Administrative Assistant position.  We are looking for someone that is laid back, friendly, has strong attention to detail and can multi-task.  Responsibilities include: * Provide high-level administrative support to three executives* Conduct research and prepare statistical reports* Answer phone calls and assist callers* Manage and maintain executive’s schedules and make travel arrangements* Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents* Read and analyzing incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution* Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence including fax and email* File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports* Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access * Prepare responses and correspondences containing routine inquires* Order supplies, maintain records management system and basic bookkeeping (AP,AR)* Prepare agendas and making arrangements for committee, board and other meetings* Attend meetings to record minutes, compile and distribute minutes of meetings * Coordinate and direct office services, such as records and budget preparation, personnel and housekeeping* Set up and oversee admin policies and procedures for offices or organizations* Perform customer service tasks such as order entry, tracking of orders and responding to customer inquiries   Required Skills: The ideal candidate will either have their Associates Degree and five or more years of administrative experience or similar.  Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Bilingual Spanish is a HUGE PLUS!  Benefits: Excellent benefits include a business casual office, medical, dental, life and disability insurance with minimal cost to the employee.  Our client also has a 401K with match, lots of time off and more!!  Application Requirements: ***Local area applicants only, please!******We interview by appointment only!******Please DO NOT CALL!******Equal Opportunity Employer!*** Visit us online! - www.nsgjobs.com NorthShore Staffing Group, Inc. is an affiliate of the MRI Network, the world’s largest search and recruitment firm.  NSG has been nationally ranked #1 for 8 years running.  We have extensive industry knowledge and are committed to quality results.  We are the Premier Staffing Service for Chicago and the Northern Suburbs.
