Accounts Payable Clerk

 

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

 Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentMatch invoices to receiving documentsPost invoices into computer systemFile paid and unpaid invoices and statementsOrganize and match appropriate paperwork

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 Four years of high school, vocational school, or GED1+ years of successful Accounts Payable experience Ability to collect and analyze dataProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Outlook (or other Email application)Knowledge of MAS 500 a plusGood with basic mathDetail orientedExcellent written and oral communication skillsAble to work in a team environment
