Accounts Payable Associate - Logistics

Irving, TXLehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Associate for its Irving, TX location.  The Accounts Payables Associate - Logistics is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Lehigh Hanson Insurance Program. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years relevant experience in accounts payable or billing.  Lehigh Hanson is one of the world's largest suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel), ready-mixed and precast concrete, asphalt, cement and cement-related materials and a range of building products including concrete pipes, concrete pavers, tiles and clay bricks.  We are part of the HeidelbergCement Group, which employs 70,000 people across five continents and has leading positions in concrete and heavy building products and is the global leader in aggregates.    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS Send monthly insurance requirement letters to haulers. Receive, organize and log insurance documentation from respective haulers. Verify insurance documentation to ensure haulers meet minimum company standards. Follow up with haulers and/or insurance agents for proper insurance requirements. Prepare insurance documents for online document storage and retrieval. Assist in the process of hauler payments. Special projects as assigned by management.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Insurance industry experience preferred. Two (2) years or more accounts payable and/or billing experience. JD Edwards experience is preferred. Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel. Strong analytical, reconciliation and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
