Accounting USA jobs: Senior Accounting Analyst

Premier employer with outstanding record of growth; is seeking the addition of a Senior Accountant to their General Ledger team.​ The qualified will be a strong technical accountant with excellent analytic and overall communication skills.​ A solid understanding of GAAP and expertise preparing and posting monthly journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining the Fixed Asset sub-ledger would make you the ideal talent for this career enhancing opportunity.​



In this role you will be assisting in period closes and quarterly and year-end audit activity, interfacing directly with external auditors.​ You should also expect a fair amount of ad-hoc and self directed project work that will draw upon your analysis skills



Requirements:



* BS Finance or Accounting;
* 3 to 6 years of professional accounting experience;
* Strong working knowledge of GL systems (2+​ years);
* Recent experienced with Fixed Asset accounting (2+​ years);
* Strong computer and Excel skills;
* Experience including some time in public accounting would be a plus;
* Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate a consistent attention to detail;
* Demonstrated communication skills and ability to interact up and across a corporate finance organization.​
