Accountant Needed for Manufacturing/Distribution firm
Stable Manufacturing and Distribution Company is seeking an Accountant to add to their team. The ideal candidate will be looking for the right long-term position to further their career. Great environment that encourages teamwork and fosters growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintenance of general ledger balances on monthly basis
• Reconcile all General Ledger balances
• Prepare journal entries
• Maintain lease schedule by coordinating with HR and I/S
• Process online wire payments
• Daily cash balance reconciliation
• Run assigned reports and download to various accounting excel files
• Prepare annual forms to file with the secretary of state(s)
• Prepare quarterly tax returns (sales/use tax, excise, etc.)
• Prepare annual property tax returns
• Prepare balance confirmation with related parties on a quarterly basis
• Fixed assets experience preferred
Requirements
• Bachelors Degree, Accounting preferred
• 3~5 year experience in general ledger
• JDE accounting system a plus, strong MS Excel
