Account Payable Clerk

A multi-national advanced materials technology company located in the

West Chester, PA area seeks a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk



 



Responsibilities include the following:



 



· Data entry of AP vouchers into JDE accounts payable system to meet deadlines for generation of checks, and to ensure current recording of accounts payable balance.

· Corrections to data entry key punch when necessary.

· Filing vouchers in the “to be paid� area, and the subsequent filing of the paid voucher in the “paid� area.

· Creating new folders as needed.

· Matching weekly checks with the supporting vouchers, and forwarding to Management for signature.

· Mail all checks all with remittances, if applicable.

· Paying close attention to check mailing instructions

· Other duties as assigned



· One (1) or more years accounts payable related experience.

· Knowledge of accounts payable systems- JD Edward experience is a plus.

· PC skills- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus.

· Good oral communication skills. Must be well organized.
