Position Description:

Interested candidates should have a proven sales record managing a variety of markets. Strong technical aptitude in all abrasive products with a concentration in bonded abrasives for rough grinding would be beneficial. The candidate must have very good organizational skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, web applications and other forms for data analysis. The incumbent should have an undergraduate degree in business or an engineering discipline. This position requires a self-starter, highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision. Five or more years of value added technical sales experience are desired attributes for individuals interested in this position.

Qualifications:

JOB DESCRIPTION:This position is responsible for the full range of territory management activities associated with servicing a dynamic customer base and for identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as supporting distribution in the Houston, Texas marketplace. A thorough understanding of the PSP process and value analysis is a must for this territory; disciplines in Bonded, Coated, Superabrasives and Thin Wheel are required. The 2007 sales volume was $3,700,000 and growing. This geographical territory covers the Houston, Texas and Southwestern Louisiana marketplace with a customer base consisting of key markets such as oil field related, foundry, turbine, metal fabrication and wood.
