1st Line Wafer Process Manager - H1812
Job Description Manager responsible for the magnetic writer pole and shield formation wafer processes. Establish and maintain the technology roadmap for writer pole technologies. Develop implementation plans and schedules for state-of-the-art magnetic writer technologies. Ensure that the new wafer processes are manufacturable, establish technology leadership, minimize capital investment, are delivered on time, and can ramp with high yield. Provide technical leadership to the wafer process team responsible for the next generation writer technologies. Develop and mentor writer wafer process development team. Work with equipment suppliers to develop new tooling technologies and processes.Job Requirements Candidate should have an excellent understanding and a proven track record in the development of innovative wafer processes. Experienced with IBE, RIE, lithography, and vacuum deposition. Preferably the candidate has a deep understanding of magnetic recording head wafer processing technologies, especially related to writer pole formation processes. Effective technical leader with at least 5 years of management experience.
