Wholesale Tire Center Manager 4386
Job Description: The Tire Center Manager is responsible for the protection of assets, achieving sales and profit goals, growth in sales and achieving assigned market share objectives. The Tire Center Manager is responsible for planning and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in accordance with the annual budget to oversee and manage the day to day operations at the tire center.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Provides leadership and motivation for hourly and management associates of the tire center facility. Trains tire center associates in procedures, products, safety and quality to maintain operational compliance and consistency. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures along with applicable federal, state and local laws. Establishes and enforces all safety policies and procedures within the tire center.
This job requires:
• 3+ years in a managerial/supervisor role
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 5+ years of warehouse experience with at least 3 years in a management position. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Understanding of financial principles to run a business operation, including annual operating plans and P&L
• Knowledge of planning and logistics to efficiently route scheduling for deliveries and adequately supply customer needs to gain market share and meet sales and profit goals.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of products and brands and apply knowledge and recommendations to the business situation, and suppliers, as well as the tire center.
• Ability to recruit, staff, lead, motivate and train the hourly and management team of the tire center to ensure efficient operations of the center.
