WEB DEVELOPER

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing services for the design and management of 2D Marine Logistics Group (MLG) websites and assist in consolidating various site into an existing web server.  The contractor shall also support the deployed web servers, LINUX and database architecture of 2D MLG.  The candidate will keep expertise current with changes in web page coding protocols, procedures, and a variety of web browsing, development and content management software authorized within the MEF; implement required changes that enhance page design and content while adhering to DoD and Marine Corps web guidelines and directions of the Government’s Technical Representative; communicate routinely with colleagues, peer organizations and 2D MLG Information Management (IM) representatives, and industry professionals to gather and share information on web technology.

The qualified candidate must possess a BS in Computer Science or other technical field with 6+ years of field experience and a minimum DoD Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred). Also, the qualified candidate must have experience as Internet Developer and Database administrator, designer and manager using HTML, DHTML, IIS, Share Point Server, Java programming languages, C-Sharp, Perl, PHP, ASP and database protocols (proficiency in Oracle, SQL, etc.).  In addition, the qualified candidate will have experience writing and maintaining ADO/ODBC data connections and administering Access, Microsoft SQL, MySQL; administering Unix, Linux, and Windows Web servers.
