Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is committed to assisting industry and government achieve world-class competitiveness. CTC has a full-time opening for a Waste-to-Energy Engineer at its Dayton, OH location.
WASTE-TO-ENERGY ENGINEER
The qualified candidate will serve as a waste-to-energy engineer on various DoD projects. Specifically, the tasking will begin with a USAF plastic to fuel project. The qualified candidate will conduct baseline assessments of current DoD installation waste disposal practices and identify alternatives to disposing of waste by using it to create usable energy. The candidate will be a member of project teams providing waste-to-energy support to the Air Force Research Laboratory. The candidate may become a project manager of waste-to-energy efforts.
The selected individual must possess a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or other related engineering discipline. Knowledge of waste to energy, specific knowledge of plastic to fuel is a plus. This position will have potential travel estimated at up to 5 days/month.
