Unix System Administrator

Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.55326 CDI IT Solutions is currently looking to fill three Unix System Administrators.These will be 12 month contract W2 opportunities.Candidates will be responsible for providing Unix server support.Platforms include but are not limited to Unix, AIX, Linux, Red Hat, SunOS, HPUX.Veritas cluster experience a plus.This SA will handle implementation of complex systems and change management.Rotating page requires on call work every few weeks.Some over time to be expected.Needs to be willing to work OT and weekends to cover emergencies when necessary.Very strong customer service skills are required. Strong experience with Intel Server Operating system and Hardware skills are a must.Must have experience working in a data center.Must be willing to carry an on call pager and be willing to work additional hours as needed for critical situations.Very strong background in troubleshooting techniques.Systems administrators in this role will spend 80% of time working problem tickets and/or troubleshooting server problems.Candidate must be comfortable working in a virtual team environment and comfortable working on remote systems.
