This system will be developed using a combination of process modeling, business process choreography and SOA. The role of the members on the project team is to help design and implement the new system per specifications. In addition to having the skills for the function that he/she is being hired for; the person must also be able to communicate their ideas effectively to a technical and business audience. The person must also possess project management and organization skills to manage and gain consensus amongst team members. This role will require the need to have a very strong Customer Orientation. The individual must be able to work well with end-users to learn about their specific business needs and must be able to gain their confidence when presenting solutions to their systems needs. Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for the following: - Create User Interface Components using J2EE based technologies and WEB 2.0 technologies. - Prototype UI Components for Users - Coding & Testing JSR 168 based portlets - Getting Look & Feel Consistency in the presentation layer. Required Qualifications: Experience: - Required- Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline, or have equivalent experience - Required - 3+ years developing JSP, JSF, Struts, Spring or another MVC based Applications with at least 2+ years focusing on the presentation layer. Spring Implementation preferred. - Required - 1+ year developing a JSR 168 compliant portlet application preferably on Websphere Platform. - Required - 1+ year JSF experience preferably on Websphere Platform. - Required - Experience developing to web standards, adherence to W3C, etc will be needed - Preferred - Experience with Photoshop and imaging tools will be a plus - Please present screen shots of work that you have done along with your resume. We are looking for a UI developer who has a strong orientation and preference to developing usable UI. Knowledge: - Required - Experience developing on Websphere Portal Server 6, Websphere Application Server. - J2EE development skills, MVC concepts, Design Patterns. - Testing & Prototyping skills.
