Training Coordinator

The Training Analyst - Coordinator is an integral part of the training and development team responsible for managing the delivery of training from materials support to logistics to budget management. This position is the glue that holds the department together. Job Details: • The Training Analyst - Coordinator is a self-starter, able to work on own but, also successfully within teams comprised of key internal clients and team members as well as external vendors. • Support intranet content updates, Huron Academy Learning Management System maintenance and administration, and the compilation and review of HR newsletter content; • Assist in resolving issues with budget, course cancellation, contract management, tracking and negotiation with vendors and clients • Responsible for catering, room set up and break down, coordinating presenters and training materials for regularly run sessions in various locations in support of general and practice specific sessions • Certification issuance and compliance with governing bodies • Coordination of the tuition reimbursement program • Compliance training administration (e.g. harassment, ethics, code of conduct) • Various reporting and budget management responsibilities for the department. Candidate Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in liberal arts (humanities discipline) • Knowledge of professional services environment, experience in a training and development environment a plus • Experience managing large amounts of information and "chunking" it into useable data • Experience working in diverse teams with diverse levels of management; • High level of client service focus • Solid attention to detail • Strong conflict resolution skills • Understanding of the importance of logistics and an ability to offer up solutions and options to clients, keeping in mind price points and budget constraints • Ability to "manage up" • Knowledge of and experience with training and development • Creativity and flexibility • Initiative and proactive approach • Willingness to travel and work off-peak hours Please apply through our website at www.huronconsultinggroup.com/careers.
