General/Other: IT/Software Development Industry Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.55423 CDI is looking for a Technical Test PlannerJob Description:Job Description:Essential Functions/Responsibilities: The Technical Test Planner/Process Technical Advisor reports to the Locomotive Test and Paint Business Leader. The position is responsible for the technical test planning. Additionally, the position provides direction and material support for the Locomotive COE, Test & Paint. Responsible for scheduling, resolving issues, tracking material availability and advising on material usage. Design and implement processes and systems for control and replenishment of materials. Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships. Responsible for attaining all aspects of production operation including safety, scheduling, quality, and team development in assigned areas. Must be able to make data driven decisions and utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools. 1. Develop, implement and administer the B26 and B12 Online Commercial Test plans. 2. Maintain the B26 Online Test and B12 Online Test database and compliance with software use and quality standards. 3. Interface with Program Management and Lead Systems Engineering to continuously improve and adjust test plans from development through validation and shipping. 4. Provided ongoing technical support to test personnel and PTAs to help them to successfully complete the required testing. 5. Review all FRA required test documentation daily to ensure the business complies with required FRA regulations. 6. Work with Vendor supplied applications and processes when needed to enable testing to continue. 7. Provide support to Joint Venture/Technology Transfer program teams with the development and documentation of test requirements and training. Desired Qualifications: B.S.
